Are the elimination and final rounds still planned as per the rules page? e.g. top 10 cars into 2 elimination rounds of fastest 7 laps out of 10 then a final 23 lap finale?

Yes, we are planning to stick with both stages working the same way they are listed on the rules page.
The house robots are only listed on the leaderboard for fun, so they will be removed for deciding the top 10 entries which go through to the eliminations :)
As for the elimination rounds themselves it will take a little longer to work out the results than normal.
We are expecting to announce the scores on the same day as each round, it will all depend on how often two robots cross the line at the same time.
As for the final it will be a full 23 lap race hopefully, so it will probably be longer than most of our races have been.
The twist here will be that the rules for the elimination and final are different, but the same code will be used for both.
