I'm trying to get access to the simulation download but SF is telling me I'm forbidden. My SF username is virtualuk which I sent via email a week or more ago, any help would be appreciated.

I have checked the access list, you have definitely been added :)
You should be able to get to the code from this link: https://sourceforge.net/p/formulapi/code
The simulation is included as part of the release.
Unfortunately the main project page is denied to everybody due to a quirk with the access permissions on SourceForge.
If you can see the code in the URL above then you do have access.
I use my Source Forge account username coolgames and get the read access as well.
Where is the quirk documented and how can I get read access ?
