Formula Pi Winter 2017 Final video and results.

The bottom of this post contains the final results, so make sure you watch the video first before scrolling down!

With a mixture of two previous winners, a finalist, and two who made it to the eliminations it was anybody's race to win or loose yesterday. No one here was willing to risk a little wager on the outcome :)

Our congratulations to everybody who made it to the finals and our commiserations to those who just missed out. You can watch the whole live stream from the video below, or skip straight to the final race by clicking here.

We also revealed the new Raptor class which we will be introducing as the new high-speed class for Formula Pi before racing started. With live telemetry provided by our new Raptor motor controller and an on-board Pozyx tag the new robots will have access to IMU data, wheel speeds, heading, and localised GPS. This means the next generation of Formula Pi will truly be miniature self-driving race cars :D

Here is the full live stream from the final:

Now for the important bit, the final scores.
Only scroll down when you are ready!
